Bluebeam export table to excel

Have you ever wondered, “Why does everything have to come in PDF when sometimes the native format would probably work best?” Well now, with Bluebeam, we can get closer to native Microsoft Format without having to retype everything. Bluebeam can export numerous formats including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. To export to another file format within Bluebeam, simply select File --> Export --> select the format. A detailed example of exporting to excel can be found below. This works great for all sorts of tables and schedules including equipment, furnishing, finish, and so many more.

Exporting from Bluebeam to an Excel file

• Open your document to the page that has the schedule that you want to export, then go to File->Export->Excel Workbook->Page Region

• Use the tool to draw a box around the area of the page that has the schedule (very close to the outer boundary of the table is preferred)

• Select a destination and file name for your new Excel Workbook and click Save

• It should open a new Excel Workbook with all of your data ​(Note: It may require some reformatting and verification of the data depending on the quality of the PDF)
