Does Halifax still use Roll Numbers?

OK I am being crazy now. I had a payment method setup but I must have deleted it. Setting a new one up, but I always remember putting my roll number into the reference box, but for the life of me I now cannot find it on my Halifax account.
I assuming that because of the Lloyds merger Halifax no longer need them, but I want clarification before!

No they do not use roll numbers since they changed their systems in 2011 they ask you for account number & sort codes only.
If you only had your roll number you could still go into branch with the details as the staff should be able to get the sort code and account number from it.
