Types of Angles Worksheets
Angles are formed when two rays meet at a common point. Angles can be classified based on their relationship to a right angle (90 degrees).
Here are some of the different types of angles:
- Acute Angle:
An acute angle is smaller than a right angle.
Its measure is greater than 0 degrees and less than 90 degrees.
- Right Angle:
A right angle measures exactly 90 degrees.
- Obtuse Angle:
An obtuse angle is larger than a right angle.
Its measure is greater than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees.
- Straight Angle:
A straight angle measures exactly 180 degrees.
It is formed by a straight line, equivalent to two right angles.
- Reflex Angle:
A reflex angle is larger than a straight angle.
Its measure is greater than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees.
- Full angles measure exactly 360 degrees. They form a complete circle.
